About the Department

Project Management is essential to ensuring Tambourine products and services are successfully delivered (e.g., against scope, cost, time, quality) and maintained through the application of project management methodologies and business operations.

 

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager works across multiple disciplines and helps the team do the best work they possibly can. Our client engagements include website design and development, digital and social media campaigns, digital partnership activations and promotions, CMS implementations, Brand development, and content activation. This person assists in mentoring, training, reporting, and improving project management processes while handling strategic or complex projects. The successful candidate for this position will be someone who values collaboration, takes responsibility for activities they do not have authority over, and is eager to learn and grow with the organization.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborating and leading complex projects and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Developing detailed project plans and statements of work, incorporating input from all stakeholder groups.
  • Leading client discussions on project plans to ensure expectations are aligned and required client inputs and due dates are clear.
  • Creating project schedules, resource plans and risk & change management plans, utilizing appropriate tools.
  • Effectively managing risks, escalating when appropriate and leading resolution actions
  • Participating in new business pitches and RFP requests as needed.
  • Designing and implementing new processes, workflows and best practices to streamline the work of the team and create efficiencies.
  • Extreme proficiency in managing expectations and overcoming objections, which is critical to the timely and successful delivery of the digital marketing program.
  • Oversee the completion of tasks such as quality assurance checks, and website content upload and assembly.
  • Work with department specialists to define deliverables and timing to launch digital marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee all meetings and participation of internal teams.
  • Ensure all program components and projects are executed on time and accurately.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years project management experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve proactively.
  • Ability to work on teams as well as individually.
  • Ability to adhere to project deadlines.
  • Ability to action tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize among competing tasks.
  • Detail oriented.

 

Preferred but not required:

  • Technical Savvy
  • Proficiency in Mac OS
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar ticketing system
  • Multi-Lingual
