What goes into a Brightline takeover?

What goes into a Brightline takeover?

A recent collaboration between The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Florida’s Brightline captured the imagination of travelers. In this edition of By Design, we’ll take you behind the scenes on how it came to be.

Brightline takeover packages
Since South Florida is a primary market for travel to The Bahamas, this collaboration with Florida’s Brightline was a literal no-brainer. The innovative thinkers at Brightline built in high-impact advertising opportunities throughout their state-of-the-art train stops in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and now Orlando.

Standard takeover packages include:

Media wall

a large screen with a picture of a boat and a boat on it

Mezzanine media wall

a large screen with a map on the ceiling

Digital LED columns

a large lobby with a large sign

a group of people on an escalator

Exterior train wraps

a train with colorful designs on it

a train station with a train

Space to get creative
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism wanted to take the initiative a step further and asked for opportunities inside the Brightline trains themselves, where passengers would spend the majority of their time.

The interiors of the trains were not part of Brightline’s standard package. So, Brightline sent detailed pictures of the inside of the train. The Bahamas creative team then set to work recommending which elements should be branded while Brightline sourced a vendor to see what was doable.
